Anonymous was a Woman

One of my favorite book designs. The 3D illustration was created by pouring sand over a painting of Venus by Sandro Botticelli. Then I created a swirl over the painting’s face with my index finger to expose part of the lips. The subtitle, “an exploration of gender and genius,” was inserted inside the area of the title instead of placing it in a more traditional location underneath the title.
